Who We Are

Started by Andy and Jeff in 2003, Grey Gold has 20+ years in the business and many decades of combined experience.

We specialize in residential and commercial poured concrete footings, walls, and flatwork, and we are constantly expanding our reach. With a well-established network of vendors and suppliers, Grey Gold is prepared to handle jobs of any size. As a respected name in the construction industry, we are known as the premier concrete contractors by many.

The Company

With 30-40 employees including laborers, project managers, foremen, and office staff, GGC is constantly growing.
Our fleet of trucks, excavation equipment, and large inventory of concrete panels allows us to take on many projects at once. Our crews are efficient, skilled, and incredibly knowledgeable, and we pride ourselves on the quality products we deliver to our customers.

Andy Jones

Owner/President

Born in New Hampshire, Andy started working with concrete in the summers when he was just 14 years old. A Navy veteran and father of 8, Andy is a founding member of Grey Gold Concrete.

Jeff Woodard

Owner/Senior Field Engineer

Jeff started working in the concrete industry in New Hampshire in 1997. In 2003, he moved south and started his own business. Married with 10 children, Jeff enjoys spending time with his large family

Megan

Business Manager

After growing up in New Hampshire, Megan received degrees in Finance and Political Science at the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining Grey Gold in 2016, Megan worked for a large grocery wholesale distribution company in the Northeast. She enjoys being outside and playing with her crazy dogs.

Austin Cadorette

Foreman

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Austin started working in the residential concrete industry at 16 years old. Later working for a larger company, he quickly learned the ins and outs of the commercial concrete world, becoming a foreman in charge of large commercial projects in the greater Boston area. In 2019, Austin moved to South Carolina with his wife and 3 children.

Matt

Foreman

Born and raised on a New Hampshire dairy farm, Matt started in the concrete business at age 18. While helping his family on the farm, he became a crane operator and gained years of experience on large commercial projects in the Boston area. In 2021, Matt moved to South Carolina with his wife and three children to work at Grey Gold.

Ben

Foreman

Born and raised in the south, Ben grew up on farms which cultivated a lifelong enjoyment of hard work and the outdoors. A devoted husband and father, Ben enjoys fine cigars, good foods, and great books.

Eli Moore

Estimator

Born and raised in Upstate South Carolina, Eli has been in and around construction from an early age.  Prior to joining Grey Gold, he has worked on many large profile commercial and residential concrete projects all over the southeast as a superintendent and project manager. He enjoys a good round of golf and spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 beautiful children.

Nathan

Project Manager

Growing up in the trades working with his dad, Nathan obtained a degree in Communications from Montclair State University. After 6 years with the National Guard, he owned his own remodeling business for 15 years. A husband and father, Nathan worked for a flooring company in New Hampshire prior to joining Grey Gold in 2021.

Cade Stewart

Project Manager

After growing up in Upstate, SC, Cade received a degree from Clemson University for Construction Science and Management.  As part of the Clemson football team, Cade won two National Championships and was the captain of the 2020 Clemson team, alongside Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne.  After college, Cade worked for a General Contractor for 5 years, building all across the southeast. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and fishing.

Cody

Foreman

Born and raised in Farm Country New York State, Cody has completed two tours of duty with Grey Gold Concrete and is back for more! Cody started with Grey Gold Concrete as a wet behind the ears laborer back in 2013.  After moving back to his home state and gaining experience and technical skill he decided to grace us with his presence again in 2020.  The new experienced Cody took the bull by the horns and became and outstanding Foreman with a penchant for “getting things done”.  In the fall of 2023 Cody decided to try his luck one more time back up north.  After being away from Grey Gold Concrete for only 6 months he said “I’m coming back…Grey Gold is the best place to work in the world, and now I’m devoting my working career to it.  I’m a Grey Gold lifer!”  Grey Gold and our builders and project managers are ecstatic to have Cody back for his 3rd and hopefully permanent tour.  He brings skill, experience, and a bull headed toughness to get things done.
